AMOD AGL3080 Power

The AMOD AGL3080 Power is a GPS data logger.

Unlike other similar products, the AGL3080 Power does not need any drivers to operate. When you plug AGL3080 Power into a computer USB port, it simply appears as an external drive exactly like an ordinary memory stick.

Immediately compatible with any operating system which will read a USB memory stick: Windows, Mac, Linux, Solaris Etc.

The recorded logs are standard NMEA format which is compatible with FRDL and many other software packages.

For those familiar with the AMOD AGL3080, the AMOD AGL3080 Power is the new model introduced in 2012. It is identical to the old model except if rechargable batteries are fitted it has the new capability of charging them when plugged into a computer or USB compatible charging device.

Quite simply, since we created FRDL as a compatible, fast and reliable means of using the capable but reasonably priced AMOD to record flight data in national and international FAI sanctioned Microlight and Paramotor competitions it has become the flight recorder of choice for nearly all competition pilots.
