Richard Meredith-Hardy will be doing a Microlight over Everest lecture tour of UK in April 2005. The presentation is approximately two hours and includes a brief history of aviation in the Everest region and the full story of the planning and execution of the Over Everest expedition and flight illustrated with stunning photos and extraordinary video clips.
Local organization is in the hands of microlight flying clubs. Everyone is welcome, especially, microlight and hang glider pilots, climbers, trekkers and people who take an interest in Everest or Nepal. Entry fee is £5 per person, a proportion of which goes to the organizing club. The precise dates and venues are more or less finalized now, but there may still be the possibility of changes so please watch this page!
