Foreign registered aircraft

Unless you are in a foot-launched aircraft, in order to fly your foreign-registered microlight in the UK you must have a 'UK Air Navigation Order 2000 Exemption Order' which normally lasts for 28 days.

All competitors in WMC2003 from the time of registration AT LONG MARSTON will automatically be included in a group exemption.  However, visitors and those who plan to fly in the UK before registration for WMC2003 must obtain an exemption certificate.  To get one you must provide the UK CAA with the following information:

Pilot details.

Licence details.

Aircraft registration.

Aircraft Type.

Permit to Fly reference.

Validity dates of aircraft registration and Permit to Fly.

Dates you plan to fly in the UK.

You can, of course, contact the UK CAA direct to obtain the exemption. However, if you send this information to Keith Negal, Keith@Negal.com your details will be added to a list so that a group exemption can be obtained.  A copy of the exemption certificate will then be emailed to you.
