Mobiles and GPS' - Important Notice
Pilots should all carry a mobile phone (with the screen visible) on tasks outside the immediate airfield area so that the Comp Director may remotely cancel tasks in the event of unsafe flying conditions.
Mobile phones with GPS functionality will NOT be allowed, so please ensure you bring a non-GPS mobile for this purpose. Pilots bringing their own GPS as a backup must also bring any necessary software and leads to allow download of tracks.
