A few isolated showers are possible on Wednesday, otherwise it looks fairly dry. Friday and Saturday look to have the best chances for heavy snow. Winds below 7500m look to be mainly below 15 m/s through the period and are forecasted to ease below 10 m/s by the end of the period. Above 7500m will be fairly windy until the weekend with better conditions on Sunday and Monday. The direction of the winds will be mainly out of the NW - turning W'erly on Wednesday and more N/NW'erly on Friday through the weekend. Below 7500m - Winds look to be moderate with a short lived strong period late Wednesday into Thursday. Otherwise look for the winds to be below 15 m/s and ease further to below 10 m/s on Friday and through the weekend. Heavy snow is possible on Friday and Saturday. Currently it looks like the best climbing conditions will be late this weekend into the start of next week (lighter winds and isolated snow possible). Above 7500m - Expect fairly windy conditions near Summits 1&2 until the end of the week. Winds look to ease near the summit around the weekend into early next week. Similar conditions apply to Summit 1 level to 7500m. Heavy snow is still a possibility on Friday and Saturday. Better climbing conditions are currently in the forecast for late in the weekend into early next week.
