SHORT / SHORT
AIM :
The pilot will attempt to take off and land in the
shortest distance without cutting a string placed 1 metre above ground
RULES :
The landing decks will be divided into 5 meters band
widths.
For take off, the pilot chooses his take off band.
From that point, he must take off without breaking the string stretched across the landing deck at
a height of 1 metre.
For the landing the pilot must fly over the string
and land in the shortest possible distance.
The shorter the take off and landing distances, the
greater the score;
For take off, the main wheels will determine the
band.
For landing, it is the wheel least favourable which
scores.
It is not permitted to turn more than 90° during the
landing run.
For Take Off and landing, it is necessary to stay in
the limits of the deck.
A round is complete in 1 take off and 1 landing.

The best performance will be amended to 250 points
and the others pro rated for each side (Take off AND Landing).
The total of the take off points and landing points
will be added together. The best performance will be amended to 500 points, the
others will be adjusted accordingly.
