Instant
navigation and speed! Pilots must fly
to all 6 turnpoints (miss one, score zero) but the clock started when pilots
touched down at a remote field and were given the turn point locations! There were two possible courses of action;
be conservative, land and plan the route at the remote field or grab the map,
save time by not stopping and plan in flight!
There was again a distinct inversion at about 100m with a very large
difference in wind between the two.
