TASK 9

 

Navigation - Economie

 

 

Objective :

To do the maximum distance with 3 liters of fuel turning around turn points according to the official map.

 

Rules :

The pilots has got 8 turn points localized around a central turn point to establish his course. He must systematically turn around the central turn point between 2 peripherical turn points.

 

Sectors :

The sectors of the peripherical turn points is taken within an angle of 90° in the direction of the central turn point. The sector of the central turn point is defined by the axis of the previous turn point.

 

Fueling :

The fueling starts at  3:30 pm to 4 :30 pm. All the pilots have to come with their PPG ready for fueling (entirely empty).

 

No assistance is allowed nor telephone nor radio.

 

Penalties :

Engine not ready for fueling : 10%

Turn points out of the sectors : distance of this turn point not validated (go and return)

Landing out of PPG field : 0

Landing on the PPG field but out of the deck : 20%

Assitance for take-off : 20%
